After spending 10 years overseeing the development of online courses and all support systems required for national accreditation of an online associate degree in liberal arts, Michelle Barthelemy joined the business department as full-time, tenured faculty in fall 2016. At this time, Michelle teaches Introduction to Business, Human Resources Management, Business Communications, Entrepreneurship, and Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism. She is faculty advisor to the GCC Business Club, the largest student run organization on campus. Michelle is also the campus liaison to the Grinspoon Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Valley Venture Mentors and supports students’ efforts to compete in local entrepreneurship initiatives such as the annual Draper Competition.
