Throughout the year, we offer expert training on a variety of board-related topics. From fundraising to marketing, we’ve got you covered. We offer free entry to all Leaders OnBoard workshops for staff and board members of member organizations.
BOARD CONSULTATION
We offer two-hour customized board development consultation services on issues like diversity and inclusion, governance, roles, and recruitment.
BOARD BASICS
This 3-hour workshop led by expert will give you the tools you need to be an effective board member. Learn about roles & responsibilities, how to be effective, and how to ensure your values are reflected in your nonprofit work.
NETWORKING EVENTS
Connect with staff and board members of other non-profits throughout the year. Free access to LPV networking events for staff and board members of member organizations.
BOARD MATCHING
We offer speed-dating style board matching events and personalized 1 to 1 matches across the Pioneer Valley. We work to fill empty seats on boards and committees so that our regional nonprofits feel prepared and supported to fulfill their missions and serve their communities.
BOARD CONFERENCE
Our bi-annual conference has workshops on topics including fundraising, board diversity, how to tell your stories, and more. Hear from keynote speakers about leadership in the nonprofit sector and network with people from across the region engaged in nonprofit work.
