Leaders OnBoard for Individuals

Rise to the Next Level of Board Involvement

Franklin County relies on the leaders of its nonprofit boards to take on challenges in areas of need from education to addiction. To support their good work, we at Leadership Pioneer Valley and our sponsor organizations want to nurture new board leaders and enhance the skills of those who are already involved.

With our new program, Leaders OnBoard, you can get educated on the broad range of needed skills, find peer mentors, and connect to various boards in need of people to serve.

three steps to nonprofit service:

  1. 1 » Register  and attend a Board Basics Workshop.
2 » Submit a Board Service Interest Form
  2. 3 » Participate in a Board Member Matching event.

Board Basics Workshops

Whether you are considering board membership or have served long-term, join us for a training with experts to explore such topics as what it means to sit on a board, how to conduct a budget review , and how to ensure your values are reflected in your nonprofit work.

Board Basics sessions are held quarterly and are a prerequisite for attending Board Matching events.

Board Member Matching
