LEAP Tuition
Anyone in the Pioneer Valley community can apply to Leadership Pioneer Valley's LEAP Program. Past participants have included for-profit business professionals, non-profit leaders, government staff and officials, and community volunteers. For individuals who are self-employed, employed by a small business, unemployed, or employed by the non-profit or public sector, and would otherwise be unable to participate, tuition assistance will be available.
Tuition: $3,500 (this includes suggested $300 personal tuition)
We offer a flat rate tuition with ample financial assistance/tuition discounts for small businesses, non-profits, and the public sector. Tuition covers all class year expenses including: the overnight retreat, meals, program training and materials, trainers, transportation, commencement ceremony, and graduation reception. Tuition only covers half of our overall program expenses; we are able to augment tuition with the generous funding from other sources.
The above tuition includes a suggested personal tuition of $300 paid by each individual participant to ensure their personal engagement. Flexible payment plans are available upon request for both employers and applicants.
Early Application Discounts
Organizations hoping to send multiple participants to LPV are invited to submit early applications to qualify for group discounts. Organizations submitting 3 or more complete applications by June 1st are eligible for a 50% discount on one participant.
Refer-a-Friend: Individuals referred by an LPV alumni that submit complete applications (including employer/sponsor forms) by June 1st are eligible for a $100 discount on personal tuition applicable to personal payments only.
Tuition Assistance and Scholarships
Leadership Pioneer Valley is pleased to offer financial assistance towards tuition for individuals who are self-employed, employed by a small business, unemployed, or employed by the non-profit or public sector, and would otherwise be unable to participate. We are also offering two additional scholarships that are outlined below.
Those requesting assistance must indicate so in the appropriate space provided in the application packet. A separate Tuition Assistance Request must be submitted with application to be considered.
- Chamber Discount- If you are a member of a Valley chamber of commerce and have never participated in LEAP before, receive 10% off tuition if you are one of the first 10 to apply.
Scholarships
YPS Scholarship: The Young Professional Society of Springfield is offering one personal tuition scholarship of $300 each year for current members of YPS. To apply, please fill out the Tuition Assistance Request Form listed above.
NAYP Scholarship: The Northampton Area Young Professionals is offering one personal tuition scholarship of $300 each year for current members of NAYP who would be willing to chair a committee. To apply, please fill out the Tuition Assistance Request Form listed above.
LIPPI: All LIPPI alumnae will receive 20% off LPV tuition and visa versa.
